Where mountains meet water, and everything runs together, it’s the hope that if only for a moment, we can become a part of it. The traveled rainbow journeys back to that water where we both can rest and search for the next piece of our existence.
It’s in that moment, when the line comes tight, that we are most connected, and it’s that very moment that has graced, consumed, and changed so much of our lives. That is the steelhead experience; and it’s that experience that we want to share with you.

Adventure Alaska Southeast is such an unbelievable experience! Everything about this place from the employees to getting a whole river all day by your self with no pressure on fishing, just makes it unique and unforgettable. I have been here 3 times and will continue to keep visiting Jason and Luther as long as there is still fish. I can not appreciate how hard each of the employees work to satisfy their customers. This place is truly remarkable and am anxiously waiting to round up some cash to get out there again. This is my favorite place in the whole world to visit and truly plan on moving up there in the future because everything about Southeast Alaska is amazing!!!
Our eighth year staying at Adventure Alaska Southeast, we enjoy fishing salt & stream and this place offers both - either with guide or on your own. Cabins, vehicles and equipment well maintained. Staff friendly, helpful and quick response to any requests. An amazing place with beautiful scenery and wildlife...another Great Vacation!
3rd time back to Adventure Alaska Southeast and each trip gets better and better. Can't say enough about all of the staff! Very helpful and accommodating with any requests or issues. The cabins are well kept and make you feel right at home. The fishing and wildlife is fantastic. Ask around for Luther- he seems to know where they are biting each day! Can't wait to be back in the future.
Great place to visit -- friendly, knowledgeable staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great time! Thorne Bay has that small town feel with friendly folks and some great scenery. I've visited Adventure Alaska for close to 20 years watching the operation grow. It's always nice to see a successful operation thrive and expand! The owners are great people, personally involved with daily operations -- whether pointing you in the right direction to catch fish in the salt or freshwater, they make sure you are having a good time.
Our first trip to Alaska and it could not have been better! Luther and Dan were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! Everything; boat, cabin, equipment, cleaning stations, etc., were it great working order and very clean. The community was very friendly, the surroundings are beautiful and it was a wonderful place to spend a week (not enough time). We left with great memories and new friend. We highly recommend adding Adventure Alaska to your bucket list!
